The Urban Funk Dance School have announced a further summer scheme in August.
The Playhouse based dance school ran classes every Saturday in July and the programme proved so popular that instructor Brona Jackson has extended classes until September.
All classes in July operated to capacity and Ms. Jackson said: “I am pleased to announce we will be extending the summer programme throughout August. There will be new junior and senior classes on offer and we will as usual cater for all abilities.
“The fee has also been reduced to £30.”
The Saturday classes will offer instruction on new styles and routines every week. A showcase has been organised for junior classes run between 1 and 3pm and seniors can attend from 3 to 5pm.
“All new crew members are welcome,” said Ms. Jackson.
Ms Jackson is currently starring in the musical ‘Sweeney Todd’ with The Millennium Forum Youth Theatre Group at The Millennium Forum. Waterside dancer, Brona has also choreographed outdoor festivals such as the Hallowe’en parade, the Earhart Festival and the Foyle Follies extravaganza. The new Urban Funk Dance School term will commence on Saturday August 13. The fee for the month is £30. Contact Brona Jackson on 07751927876 or firstname.lastname@example.org to book a place.
