GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS, the global authority on record-breaking achievement, today announce the greatest new records to have made it into the latest edition of the world’s best-selling book:
The iconic publication, out today, recognises an incredible array of international record-breakers.
Riding high is Italy’s Fabio Reggiani, creator of the world’s largest motorcycle, measuring 5.10 m (16ft 8.78 in) from the ground to the top of the handlebars. Also leading the pack are Germany’s Julia Plecher, who ran the fastest 100m in high heels (14.531 sec), and Hans Zollner, who built the world’s largest walking robot (8.2m high).
From the UK London’s Leilani Franco is an incredible contortionist who drinks tea with her feet and holds 3 new backbreaking records and Derbyshire’s James Brown is cleaning up with the world’s largest collection of vacuum cleaners (322 models).
Across the pond in the USA and following in the tiny paw steps of Boo Boo and Beyonce is Puerto Rico’s Milly, the new world’s smallest dog at 3.8 inches small. Florida’s Happie the goat is whizzing straight into the record books with the farthest distance skateboarded by a goat, 36m (118ft) in 25 seconds. California’s Steve Sansweet and his full-size Darth Vader are celebrating the largest collection of Star Wars memorabilia (over 330,000 items!) and Texan Austin Coulson used a baby’s pram and a quad bike to construct the smallest roadworthy car. The cutemobile measures just 63.5 cm, high, 65.41 cm, wide and 126.47 cm long.
