Volunteers wanted for Strathfoyle clean up

People living in and around Strathfoyle and Enagh Lough are being asked to help clean up the area.

Enagh Youth Forum (EYF) will be carrying out a major cleanup of the Lough with the help of Conservation Volunteers while pupils from the local St Oliver Plunkett Primary School will also be carrying out a community litter pick in and around the Strathfoyle estate next Saturday.

“We are encouraging everyone to come along on Saturday March 26 and do one thing for wildlife and the environment,” EYF spokesman Paul Hughes says.

“Finally we we would like to ask anyone that is interested in Lough Enagh and keeping it safe to contact us at 33 Bawnmore Place Strathfoyle or email us on enagh.youthforum@yahoo.ie or find us on facebook,” he says.
