Voting is underway across the North West this morning in the 2015 Westminster General Election.
Polling stations across the Foyle, East Derry and West Tyrone constituencies opened at 7 a.m. and are due to close at 10 p.m. this evening.
Among those first to vote in Derry was the sitting Foyle MP Mark Durkan (SDLP) who cast his vote at the Foyle Disability Resource Centre.
Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness (Sinn Fein) cast his vote at the Model School, Academy Road.
At the polling station, voters will require photographic ID such as a passport, a driving licence or a Translink smartpass.
Voters should place a single “X” against the candidate of their choice.
Counting for the Foyle and East Derry constituencies will take place overnight at the counting centre in the Templemore Sports Complex and the first results are expected in the early hours of Friday morning.
