Police in Derry have launched an investigation after a car was driven across the wrong side of the Foyle Bridge on Wednesday.
Local man, Michael Radcliffe, caught the incident on a dash cam while driving across the bridge.
In the video, the car narrowly avoids several head on collisions as it driven across the wrong side of the bridge from the direction of Caw Roundabout.
“At approximately 4.40pm on Wednesday August 17, police received a report of a two vehicle R.T.C. on the Foyle Bridge in Derry. There were no injuries reported,” said a PSNI spokesperson.
“It was reported that one of the cars involved, a red Rover 25, did a U-turn after the R.T.C. and travelled city-bound on the wrong side of the bridge. The car was later abandoned in the Mansefield Grove area of the city and was recovered by police for further examination.
