Weekend Festive Fair and Bazaar

A Christmas Fayre will be held in Muff, Presbyterian Church to-morrow from 11am-1pm. Admission free.

(teas, 4 euro), cakes and cakes: jams, Christmas Stall, potatoes and veg, logs, turf and ticks, toy and craft stall.....and more! Face painting for children.

The GAA Big Club Development Draw with prizes totalling more than 6,000 euro will take plce on Friday December 5th in the Squealin’ Pig. Music by Liam A, Admission free. The club is hosting its annual bazaar in the clubhouse this Sunday starting at 2pm. Hampers, Turkeys, Wines, Whiskey.and Coal.All things

that could heat you up. Lucky Dip and other prizes galore. Rickety Wheel,, Refreshments will be served, also Santa will make an appearance. All support welcome.

A Christmas Bonanza Bingo Session will be held on Sunday, 14th December in St. Mary’s Community Hall

from 3-5pm. Total pay out 1,075 euro and all proceeds going towards the upkeep of the hall.

This is a special notice to all children to say that Santa will be in St.Mary’s Community Hall, Muff on Sunday 7th December, please have your letters ready to give to him in good time for Christmas. The

bazaar is the annual one organised by the Muff Branch of the Apostolic Workers. There will be the usual stalls Rickety Wheel, plenty of prizes to be won at this, always a great attraction., also Cake stall, Bric-a-Brac- Bottle stall,etc. The Muff Accordion Band will also be in attendance to get everyone

in the festive mood by playing a selection of Christmas Carols. At present there are tickets on sale 2 Euro strip for 100 euro Hamper, Homemade Christmas Cake, and a tin of sweets. Tickets from members. All proceeds going to the Missions. Doors open at 2.00pm..

The Senior Citizens in the area were treated to a Christmas Party last Thursday night in St.Mary’s Community all, a great evening was had by all entertainment was supplied by Mary Hegarty, Edward English, Tony McBride, Lizzie McNally, Bob Lyndsay, Phyllis Rutherford, Duet Dermot Barron and Cormac McColgan (Fiddle & Accordion), Caolin Grant (Solo).Samantha Weir. In attendance was Bishop Hegarty

(Retired Bishop of Derry ), Father John Farren PP, and Father Colm Morris. The party goers danced the night away to the music of Gerard Barron,Dermot McColgan, Davy McLaughlin and Adrian Smith. The party was organised by the Muff branch of the St.Vincent de Paul Society.

Numbers drawn in this week’s Naomh Padraig’s GAA Lotto were 5,4,1,7,6,3,2. 100 Eeuro winners, Rhys Roberts, Ciaran Roberts, Ciaran & Anne McColgan, Ronan and Cormac McColgan. Next week’s Jackpot will be 550 euro.

The Parents’ Association of Scoil Naomh Brid are having a Coffee Morning and Bake sale on Friday 5th December in St Mary’s Hall Muff from 10am-1pm. Everyone welcome. Donations of home baking or bought items can be left in the hall from 9.15am on the 5th December. Thank you.

The Weans’ Super Christmas Fancy Dress Disco will take place in St Mary’s Community Hall on Saturday 6th December 2014 3-5pm. Admission €3/£3 or €5/£5 per family. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
