What Sinn Féin wins in this election will be a win for all '“ Mitchel McLaughlin

What Sinn Féin wins in this election and the negotiations that follow will be a win for all progressive elements in society.

In this election we need to stand up against arrogance, bigotry and disrespect for any section of society.

There can be no return to the status quo.

This means power sharing institutions that deliver quality public services, investment and jobs for all our citizens and which operate on the basis of equality, respect and integrity.

British governments reneging on commitments in the Good Friday and subsequent political agreements has emboldened DUP arrogance and disrespect. Non-implementation of these agreements must be confronted – not renegotiated.

A strong Sinn Féin negotiating team will stand up to the British government and the DUP to defend your rights.

That is why Sinn Féin seeks a stronger mandate in this election to enter upcoming political negotiations to defend your interests and firmly put your social, economic and political interests first. To deliver a society where all people are cherished equally.

We must defend the democratic mandate of the people to remain within the EU, through designated special status, which can secure the position of the entire island of Ireland within the European Union.

To achieve this, strong leadership is required to ensure the delivery of a process of continued change that benefits everyone.

What Sinn Féin wins in this election and achieves in any negotiations that follow will be a win for everyone who considers themselves a progressive and who believes in a society of equals.

That is why I am appealing to you to give Sinn Féin a strong hand in the negotiations that will follow this election by Voting Sinn Féin 1 and 2 in Foyle.
