Erin Dalzell (21) and Dillion Lockhart (20), both of Lislane Drive, were involved in an incident at Queen’s Quay on July 14, a PPS solicitor told the court.

Police reported that Mr Lockhart was escorted away from the Clipper festival area around 2.15am on July 14, but then jumped in front of oncoming traffic and when warned about his behaviour said: “F**k off, let me go”. Ms Dalzell, Mr Lockhart’s partner, also became abusive towards police, calling officers “dirty Orange b*****ds,” “rotten b*****ds,” and “dirty paedophiles”. Defending, Mick McGee, said the couple, who have a young child together, had been on a rare night out, had consumed too much drink, and were “deeply embarassed”. Mr Lockhart was fined £200 and Ms Dalzell was given a year’s probation.
