Thanks to votes from a legion of fans, Derry band Zia Regime have made it to the final of the Red Bull Bedroom Jam and will play a Live Show direct from their bedroom this Monday, April 11, at 5pm.

A staggering 10,000 bands applied for the Red Bull Bedroom Jam and only eight have made it all the way to the top!

Monday’s live performance by Zia Regime will be streamed online for final votes and the band are hopeful they can do well.

Lead guitarist Michael McGonigle told the ‘Journal: “We’re excited, happy and nervous! I think it’s mostly nerves now though, because we are playing live and so many people will be watching on Monday - we need to put on the best show we possibly can. If we make it to the Festival Chart on Monday, then we are in with a chance of playing major UK festivals.”

Not only that, if the band continue to impress everyone who hears them, they have a real and distinct chance of winning the top prize of making a record at Red Bull Studios in London and touring with a massive headlining act.

Next week’s 5pm Live Show will be brought to you from the band’s bedroom in Derry and local music fans can visit the Red Bull Bedroom Jam website at 5pm this Monday where the gig will be streamed live. Best of luck, boys!
