BOXING: St Joseph's ABC stage end of season show

ST JOSEPH's ABC are staging their end of season tournament in Du Pont's Rec Club on Friday night with a host of top class bouts on an action-packed card.

Newly crowned Irish 48kg champion, Liam Glennon and Ulster and Nine County champion, Jack Doherty will feature prominently on the bill while Blain Dobbins makes a welcome comeback after winning the Ulster Senior 49kg title.

This show is always a terrific success and a must see for Derry fight fans.

Meanwhile, the County Derry Boxing Board are promoting their awards presentation night in the City Hotel on Tuesday, May 19th.

This is the first time boxing has been staged in the City Hotel and the Co. Board are confident it will be a hugely successful night.

On the night boxers are honoured for their achievements over the past year and there willbe 14 contests down for decision with several Ulster, Nine County and Irish champions on the show making it a night not to be missed!

Tickets are priced at £10 and £5 and can be purchased at the City Hotel or alternatively you can pay at the door.
