Olympian AC members, Karen and Martin O'Donnell who both won All Ireland medals in Athlone.

It was Karen’s return to competitive athletics action after several years away from the sport and it proved worth the wait. Karen contested the V1 (over 35years) women’s 400m and showed the rest of the field a clean pair of heels, leading from gun-to-tape to claim the mantle of All-Ireland champion.

Martin contested the V2 (over 40years) men 60m and 200m, and added two well deserved bronze medals to his ever growing personal collection of All Ireland Masters medals.

Well done to both Karen and Martin from all at Olympian YAC on their magnificent achievements.
