The 12 crews will each enter a team and will have their numbers supplemented by City of Derry Players and anyone else who would like to participate. The teams will include male and female players of all ages and the event starts at 4.30pm.

The inaugural Clipper Tag Rugby Tournament at Judges was two years ago and it turned out to be an outstanding success.

The top player on show then was Ollie Phillips who captained a successful English 7’s Rugby Team at the World Cup. Ollie was a member of the GB Crew last time around.

Sir Robin Know-Johnston, at the tender age of 75 years-old, also played for one of the crews two years ago and is expected to turn out again.

There will also be a BBQ during and after the Tag Rugby with music in the bar to finish off the evening. Everyone in the city is invited to come along and support the Clipper Crews as they enjoy City of Derry Rugby Club’s hospitality. Entry is £5.
