Club Derry anounce increased draw and new competition

DERRY supporters at Sunday’s opening National League encounter have the opportunity to leave Celtic Park as winners regardless of the outcome against Galway after Club Derry announced an increase in the half-time draw and a new Man of the Match competition.

The fund-raising group will be organising the traditional draws this season and have boosted the prize from £100 to £250. It can be won by purchasing a £1 ticket from any Club Derry member when patrons enter the ground and there is no limit as to how many you can buy!

As well as the revamped draw, supporters will also have the chance to choose the Club Derry ‘Man of the Match’ at every home league game throughout the 2012 season via a supporters text vote. As an added incentive, every time you text you will be entered into a draw to win a £50 O’Neill’s Sportswear voucher.

Entrants can vote as many times as they like and remember, the more times you vote, the better your chance to win! Winners of the Man of the Match Text Vote draw will be announced in the week after the match in the ‘Journal’ and on

To vote for your man of the match today simply text Derry followed a space and then by the shirt number to 81066, (i.e. if you think the man of the match is wearing the number 1 shirt text, ‘ Derry 1’ to 81066).

Each vote will cost 50p plus one standard network rate text.
