Abercorn halt Top of the Hill’s winning start to season

LIAM McGuinness netted a hat-trick as Abercorn bounced back to salvage a share of the spoils and end Top of the Hill Celtic’s winning start to the season on Sunday.

Elsewhere in the top flight, second placed Three Flowers defeated Brandywell Harps to close the gap on the leaders to a single point and Don Bosco’s and Porter’s shared six goals in an entertaining draw at Brandywell Stadium.

And at the bottom of the table, Lisahally secured a vital win against Celtic Swifts while Trojans defeated Downey’s.

In the First Division, the top four clubs all secured wins as leaders Oxford defeated Campbell’s; Culmore came out on top against Strand United; Oakgrove defeated A.O.H. Harps and Phoenix secured a narrow win against Ballymoor while The Bentley defeated Maydown.
