FOOTBALL: Ex-Everton winger Kevin Sheedy to appear at the Magnet Bar

Their will be an ‘Evening with former international and Toffees winger Kevin Sheedy’, which will take place in the Magnet Bar, at 9pm, this Saturday.

Entry is free to the Sheedy evening but there will be a raffle on the night with all the proceeds in aid of Foyle Search & Rescue.

Earlier on Saturday the Irish Toffees FC face Derry City Legends at the Brandywell Showgrounds (KO 2pm).

The whole day has been organised by life-long Everton fan James Doherty: “This game will be our annual Jim Kearney Memorial match and there will be a Dermot Nealon trophy presented to the Man of the Match.

“Both Jim and Dermot were former club chairmen of the Everton Supporters Club, who sadly have passed away.”
