Free-scoring Tristar to test Trojans’ resolve at Oakland

FREE-SCORING Tristar will be anxious to reinforce their pre-season billing as title contenders when they attempt to secure consecutive league victories against Premier Division newcomers, Trojans on Sunday.

Raymond Carton’s young Trojans side faced a tough initiation to the top flight against reigning champions, Top of the Hill Celtic last week and it doesn’t get any easier against Tristar this week.

Elsewhere in the Premier Division, Top of the Hill take on old rivals, Brandywell Harps; Three Flowers face Downey’s; Porter’s meet Celtic Swifts at Brandywell and Lisahally host Don Bosco’s.

In Division One Culmore host Strand United; Phoenix play Oxford Utd Stars; The Bentley take on Campbells; Ballymoor meet Maydown and Oakgrove face AOH Harps.

At Monday night’s meeting one club was fined £50 for not fielding a team on the first day of the season. They have two weeks to pay the fine.
