Goals Galore in Gilfillan Cup

IT WAS a case of goals galore in last weekend’s Gilfillan Cup programme in the Saturday Morning League.

In Group there were wins for Collon Celtic and Creggan Swifts while in Group 2 Oxford and Top of the Hill Celtic Youth also took maximum points.

In Group 3 Brandywell Celtic and Tamnaherin enjoyed success while Institute defeated Clifton Villa in Group 4 and in Group 5 Westbank United hammered HML.

Foyle Athletic, in Group 6 and Northside Albion (Group 7), took maximum points while Phoenix Swifts had a fine win away at Benbradagh Colts in Group 8.

Meanwhile, Clifton Villa keeper, Gavin Bradley, sustained a nasty injury and he will be out of action for quite some time. Everyone associated with the Saturday Morning League wish him a very speedy recovery.
