Here's how the League of Ireland Premier Division table looks if you combine seasons 1985 to 2019 - where do Derry City rank?

We all know Derry City Football Club has made a significant mark on the League of Ireland since gaining entry to the league in 1985 - but where do the Candy Stripes rank in the all-time table?

We've looked back on the top flight table since 1985, when it first became the League of Ireland Premier Division, and accumulated the stats from the past 34 seasons up to and including the 2019 campaign. Check out the standings and see where your club would be!

Wexford Youths, founded in 2007, gained promotion to the top flight for the 2016 season - the club's first and so far, only campaign in the Premier Division.
The club were twice promoted to the League of Ireland Premier Division, playing at various grounds in Dublin, including Dalymount Park and Tolka Park until they were disbanded in 2006.

Kilkenny City, proud members of the league since their election in 1985, played their games at Buckley Park until it folded in 2008.
Home Farm, based in Whitehall, Dublin, were known as Home Farm Everton and later Dublin City. As Home Farm Everton they played 77 games in League of Ireland.
Sporting Final, replaced Kilkenny City in the League of Ireland and played the 2010 season in the Premier Division. The played home matches at Morton Stadium.
Monaghan United played 98 games in the League of Ireland top flight, earning a total of 78 points.
Cobh Ramblers were elected to the League of Ireland in 1985. They play their home matches at St Colman's Park.
Athlone is the oldest club in the League, founded in 1887. It was first elected to the League of Ireland in 1922, winning the league title twice in 198081 and 198283.
Donegal's only senior club, Finn Harps was admitted into the senior ranks in May 1969. The Ballybofey men have bee the definition of a yo-yo club in recent years and are currently 16th in the all-time list.
Limerick won the League of Ireland title twice, in the 195960 and 197980 seasons. They played a total of 408 top flight games before they were forced to pull out of the League due to financial problems in 2019.
Midlands club, Longford Town, elected to the league in 1984, have played a total of 327 top flight games, earning 372 points which leaves them in 14th position in the all-time standings.
Waterford United have won the League of Ireland top flight title six times during the late 60s and early 70s. They lie 13th in the all-time table with 498 points.
Runners-up in the League of Ireland top flight in the 198586 season, Galway, under various guises, have played 679 Premier Division games, earning 652 points.
Bray was founded in 1942 and was elected to the League in 1985. The Seagulls play their home matches at the Carlisle Grounds and are currently a lofty 11th position in the all-time standings.
UCD was founded in 1895 and was elected to the league in 1979 under the management of Dr. Tony O'Neill. So often it has produced some of the top talent in the league and it stands at No.10 in the all-time list.
Drogheda United won the League of Ireland Premier Divison in 2007 and were runners-up in 2012. They are ninth in the all-time standings with 752 points.
Sligo Rovers have played at The Showgrounds since their inception. The Bit O'Red have won the top flight title three times in 193637, 197677 and 2012.
Shelbourne has won the league 13 times, six of those coming after the League of Ireland Premier Division was formed in 1985. The Tolka Park side have recently returned to the top flight after an absence of six years.
The reigning champions have been a dominant force in the top flight over recent seasons but they've missed out on the top five in the all-time standings having won 1,316 points from 846 matches.
Derry City Football Club was granted entry to the League of Ireland in 1985 and were promoted to the top flight the following season. The Foylesiders have won the top flight title twice including the treble in 1988/89.
With 17 league title, including four in a row in the 1980s, Shamrock Rovers remain the league's most successful club. However, in the all-time standings the Hoops lie fourth with 1665 points.
The Rebels have won three Premier Division titles, in 199293, 2005 and 2017. Despite playing two seasons in the First Division in 2010 and 2011, the Turner's Park club are third in the all-time standings.
Bohs are the oldest League of Ireland club in continuous existence and have won the League of Ireland title 11 times. The Gypsies are one of only two ever present teams in the top division.
St Pat's have been arguably the most consistent side in the modern era. They've won the title nine times and are top dogs in the all-time standings with 1715 points - 26 points better off than Bohs.
