Kelly, who won a host of medals during his City career, goes for an attack minded 4-3-3 system, so here's his best 11 players he played with during his Brandywell career and the reasons why....
9. Mark Farren
Mark Farren (Striker): Farnzo what a lad and what a player. A dream to play with you just knew when he was through there was no stopping him and you knew he was going to finish 9 times out of 10. A proper finisher but he also had the quality to back it up. No better forward two than Liam and Farnzo. Class pairing
10. Gary Beckett
Gary Beckett (Striker No 10): Bing was class could play in the 8, 9 or 10 positions. Very rarely did you see Bing give the ball away, scored some crucial goals, could unlocking opposition defences. Bing's ability to control a game were just second to none. In the 11, Bing will go into 10 role just behind Coyler and Farnzo. Superb player who like most should of played in England.
11. David Ginola
David Ginola (Substitute): What can I say about Va Va Voom. That one game playing along say David will never be forgotten by who witness the shear quality and skills from the French god. His delivery for my goal was just world class. Went on that year to win the PFA Player of the Year. Unbelievably world class player who had it all. I think Stephen Staunton is still twisting and turning from that game.
12. Kevin Deery
Kevin Deery (Substitute): A quality player who could play centre midfield and right back. Deerso really should be playing across the water especially after the European adventure a fantastic player with a never say die attitude very much in the Steve Gerrard mould. But for a few injuries were could he of been. Brilliant and funny lad and what a player.
