Promotion places up for grabs on international weekend

With the English Premiership out of action due to a string of international fixtures, the first selection in this weekend’s ‘Journal’ treble is in League One.

Promotion chasing Sheffield United (6/5) welcome second placed Brentford to Bramall Lane tomorrow afternoon. Danny Wilson’s ‘Blades’ know that a win over Brentford will mean they move into an automatic promotion place. And a win is a real possibility.

Staying with League One, we believe that promotion hopefuls, Bournemouth (1/2) should make light work of relegation battlers Bury at Victoria Park tomorrow.

‘The Poppies’ should secure at least a play-off position but three points over Bury would mean they’d remain within touching distance of the coveted automatic promotion spot.

The final selection of this weekend’s bet comes from League Two where Rotherham United (11/10) host Exeter City. Both teams are in with a shout of promotion to League One but a win for Rotherham would mean they’d move even closer towards the automatic promotion places.

A winning £20 treble comprising Sheffield United (6/5), Bournemouth (1/2) and Rotherham United (11/10) would return approximately £138.
