Swifts swoop to take up leadership of Saturday Morning Premiership

CREGGAN Swifts are the new leaders in the Saturday Morning League Premier Division following their impressive defeat of Strabane last weekend.

And Clifon Villa moved in joint second spot following a comprehensive victory over Brandywell Celtic while Westbank United remain unbeaten after three games when they narrowly overcame Du Pont by the odd goal in a five.

In the Championship Gransha Institute continue to lead the way having won their sixth game on the spin while Sion Swifts sit in second place thanks to their 3-1 win over Art Deco.

Drumahoe remain pointless following another defeat and Bentley got their season up and running with their first win of the season.

In the First Division Metro defeated Foyle Athletic and Hatmore Harps and Oxford United shared the points after a 10 goals. Phoenix Athletic Colts also collected a point when sharing the spoils with Oakleaf Celtic.
