COMMONWEALTH bronze medalist Connor Coyle tops the bill as St Joseph’s ABC stages its annual end of season show at the Du Pont Social Club this Saturday night.
The middleweight, who is targeting a place on the Irish boxing Olympic squad for the Rio Games in 2016, will make his return to the ring following a short lay-off due to a hand injury.
Also representing the Galliagh club on the night will be club stalwart, Kevin McIntrye who takes on Carrickmore’s John Conlon while exciting prospect, Gerard McLaughlin also features on the bill in a rematch with St Michael’s Kevin Quinn.
The pair met last Saturday night in Portglenone when Quinn edged a controversial split decision victory.
Tickets for what’s expected to be a top class night of boxing are priced at £5. Doors open at 7p.m with first bout scheduled for 8.30 p.m.
