Martin Tracey (10) entered the history books at Foyle Golf Club on Saturday when winning Mr Rob Gallagher’s coveted President’s Prize to add to his Captain’s Prize won last month.
Martin therefore, became the first player to win both majors in the same year at the Ballyarnet club.
The timesheet was filled to capacity with 200 competitors enjoying the fabulous weather conditions and Tracey’s 42 points total was enough to emerge in top spot.

Foyle Golf Club’s Ulster Cup team reached the quarter-finals after a very convincing victory over Newtownstewart. They will now play Ballyclare for a place in the last four.
Meanwhile, Damian McColgan’s Fred Daly team have qualified for the Ulster Finals after an excellent performance against Clandeboye.
They will now travel to Masserenne on Sunday, August 4th to play Lurgan in the semi-finals.
