Get into the festive spirit at the Alley Theatre this December

The festive season will kick off in style at the Alley theatre this weekend, with a packed month ahead that will help everyone get in the Christmas mood!

It all starts on Sunday, December 1 when the Lyngo Theatre presents ‘Heart of Winter’ which is all about family, friendship and fun.

On Tuesday, December 3 there will be a special evening to celebrate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. ‘Walking in the Air’ will feature the Strabane Brass Band and Knockavoe School.

On Friday, December 6, Sollus Highland Dancers present their annual ‘Christmas with Sollus’ show.

There will also be plenty for the creative artists out there, with Nicola Bamford from A Stone Rose showing you how to make a fresh Christmas door wreath during a workshop on Saturday, December 7 while the following Saturday (14) there will be a Glass Fusion Crafts for Christmas workshop with Natasha Duffy.

On Tuesday, December 17 there will be a Strabane Community Carol Service in aid of Marie Curie. Then, on Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19, celebrate less than a week to the big day as the Belfast Music and Drama Society present Aladdin.

That is just a small insight into all the festive goings on at the Alley, however, with 10 more shows and workshops that will culminate with The Logues’ spectacular New Year’s Eve Eve special on Wednesday, December 30 you will definitely find something to help relieve the shopping stress!
