Ashleigh Coyle has spoken of her excitement after being chosen to present her own TV show in the near future.
The former Miss Derry and Big Brother 2014 finalist has now signed an exclusive four-year deal with major European entertainment firm IEG Global, which will see her spending more time in London in the future.
IEG Global is one of UK’s leading entertainment, events, brand and marketing communications firms and has worked with high profile celebrities and a range of brands including Panasonic, Kickers, Samsung Mobile, MAC Cosmetics, British Airways.
Ashleigh’s four year deal will see her join IEG Global’s Celebrity & Talent Management division.
Ashleigh will be at the helm of ‘Good Girls’, a new TV, magazine and online community platform for girls aged from 15 to 34. The project is due to begin from next month.
Ashleigh’s career has been taking off since she left the Big Brother house, having narrowly missed out on the winner’s podium spot this summer.
The 18-year-old has also been selected to appear on the catwalk during New York Fashion Week next year.
“I’m dead excited. I think with IEG it all started when I was nominated for best Female Personality Award at the Reality TV Awards at September. That’s where the connection came from.”
Ashleigh elaborated that she had met a senior figure within IEG on route to the after-party, who explained what the company was about.
“I was weary coming out of the house of managers. I am aware a lot of them sign a lot of people up but they get very little work, but IEG only sign one or two people a year.
“With the new TV show and magazine, I’m the face of it and the TV presenter. I’ll probably be having meetings by the end of this month and I am really looking for ward to it.”
Ashleigh will be featuring in the New York show for fashion icons DeChavel next year.
“I always wanted to go to New York and I nearly died when I heard I was going,” she said.
Ashleigh however hasn’t forgotten her roots and was back in Derry at the weekend for Halloween.
She was joined at the celebrations by fellow BB contestant and buddy Chris Wright, but only after a little drama of his own.
“It was nice to see Chris,” Ashleigh said. “We actually missed the Parade though as his flight was delayed. Somebody had a heart attack on the plane.
“I’m not a big Halloween fan but I tried to make the effort and my costume was Elsa from Frozen. We end up in town at the Central Bar and the Gainsborough.
“Chris got a lot of support from people in the city. I think they have seen how good of a friend he was for me.”
