The Verbal Arts Centre will echo to the sounds of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang next week, for a special summer scheme based on the classic children’s movie.

The Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Summer Scheme takes place from Monday, August 10th until Friday, August 14th, from 9.30am-2.30pm, for children aged four to 10 years-old.

Mary Duddy Fitzpatrick, Little Legends Project Co-ordinator for Schools, said the summer scheme was devised to tie in with the city’s Year of Science 2015.

The young participants will get to experience drama, art and storytelling with an exhibition of their artwork on display in the Centre at the end of the week.

There are just a few places left on the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Summer Scheme, which costs £40 per week per child, with lunch included.
