This Sunday, June 9, will see Grant Hart of legendary punk rock group Hüsker Dü play Sandinos Bar.
As one of the two primary songwriters of seminal 80’s group Hüsker Dü, Grant Hart helped shape the sound and voice of indie-rock to come, influencing bands like Nirvana and the Pixies. Grant will release his new album The Argument on Domino Records this July, followed by a European tour with his four-piece band The Burn/Burning. The album is based on John Milton’s Epic poem, Paradise Lost. Grant often performs with Patti Smith and has shared the stage with the likes of Charles Plymell, Philip Glass and, of course, his late chum William S. Burroughs. Tickets from Cool Discs, priced £10. Doors 9pm and support will come from We are Aerials and Autumns.
