A long-awaited sequel in a hit comedy series, Liam Neeson versus adverse weather and the remarkable true story of a British WWE star, are among the most popular films on Netflix in the UK this weekend. The omnipresent streaming giant started to publish a list of its top 10 films and shows a few years ago and if you are struggling to decide what to watch it can help as inspiration.
But with 10 popular films to choose from it can be hard to narrow it down. If a couple of the titles have caught your eye, you still need to put your foot down and pick one eventually.

5. Number 7 - Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters (PG)- 42% Rotten
Demi-god Percy Jackson and his friends return in this 2013 sequel to the Lighting Thief. In this epic adventure Percy and pals venture into the perilous Sea of Monsters to save Camp Half-Blood. 6. Number 6 - Trigger Warning (15) - 19% Rotten
Jessica Alba tries her hand at the John Wick-style thriller in this Netflix original. She plays a special operative who unearths a conspiracy when she returns to her hometown after her father’s untimely death. 7. Number 5 - Minions: The Rise of Gru (U) - 70% Fresh
In this prequel to the Despicable Me films, clever kid Gru wants to be a supervillain and the minions want a boss - it’s the perfect match! 8. Number 4 - Beast (15) - 69% Fresh
Idris Elba leads the cast in this thriller about a widowed doctor and his teenage daughters who are pursued by a ferocious lion in a dream vacation turned nightmare. It has a 69% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes with critics saying “Want to watch Idris Elba fight a lion?
