Dreaming of a White Christmas this year?

Whilst it may be too early to predict some snow, the Millennium Forum can certainly guarantee some festive magic and sparkle in their latest glittering musical offering. And you can be a part of it!

The North West’s leading arts venue is now calling for local performers to audition for a brand new community production of the Irving Berlin classic, White Christmas – The Musical, which opens at the Millennium Forum on Thurs 19th November and runs until Sunday 22nd November.

This latest in-house production will be directed by Jonathan Burgess with musical direction by Alan Wright and choreography by Venessa Chapman.

Open auditions will take place at the Millennium Forum on Tues 23rd and Thurs 25th June from 7pm-10pm and everyone aged 16+ with an ability to sing and act are encouraged to come along.

Each person will be required to sing one verse and chorus of a song of their choice (NO songs from White Christmas please!) and deliver a short monologue during their audition.

Irving Berlin’s White Christmas tells the story of two ex-army pals as they team up with a pair of sisters to put on a show to save a remote Vermont ski lodge that’s fallen on hard times. A little mischief, a few misunderstandings and a whole lot of romance are the perfect excuse for a magical evening of laughter, tears and some of the greatest songs ever written.
