The ‘Ebrington Eye’ and a host of other top amusements will be returning to Derry this Easter, it has been confirmed.
Local company Cullen’s Amusements are to set to open up from 6pm to 10pm on Good Friday, April 3rd, and then remain open for the Easter break each day from 2pm to 10pm through until Sunday April 12th.
the event is being staged in conjunction with local charity Foyle Search and Rescue.
Joe Cullen of Cullen’s Amusements said they were delighted to be returning to Ebrington Sqaure this year.
Mr Cullen said: “We always look forward to coming back to our home town.
“We had a great repsonse last year. We did eight hours a day and every day was as good as the day before and the last day was as good as the first.

“This year again there will be the usual assortment of rides, games and kiddie’s rides.”
Mr Cullen added that the 150ft high Big Wheel, which was locally dubbed the ‘Ebrington Eye’ last year, is on route from Scotland along with the cheroplanes.
Cullen’s plan to arrive on site at Ebrington on Monday to begin getting everything ready for the grand opening next Friday.
