WATCH: New episode of DERRY soap opera released

A new episode of a soap opera set in Derry has been released.

'The McCraic-ens', which is written and directed by local actor and playwright, Irene Melaugh, is about a fictional Derry family of the same name.

The locally made production focuses on the day-to-day lives of married Derry couple, Mags and Jimbo, who share a house with their two children, Whackey and Majella and Mags' older sister Lola.

The first episode took social media by storm and at the time of publication it had been viewed more 33,000 times.

The new episode, which was released on Monday, sees Jimbo return home with a new computer.

However, things take a turn for the worse when friend of the family Dizzy, decides to try out the new machine and a worse-for-wear Lola turns up with boyfriend, Gutsy.
