Kevin Holland, CEO, said: “Today’s signing of the Heads of Terms agreement for the Derry~Londonderry Strabane City Deal is an exciting development and a huge step forward in the City Deal journey.

“The Deal will secure essential investment in both innovation and physical infrastructure that will, ultimately, create jobs right across the local area, as well as deliver benefits to the wider Northern Ireland economy.

“I would like to congratulate Derry City & Strabane District Council and all the partners in their hard work so far. Delivering this plan will be a partnership approach and I am confident that, by working together, we can make this City Deal a success.

“The plans for the region are ambitious and the real work starts now to ensure the transformational potential of the Deal is maximised to drive growth, jobs and unlock significant economic benefits.”
