Ten new Drumahoe social homes will help address need, says Martina Anderson
Sinn Féin’s Martina Anderson MLA has welcomed the news that Choice Housing Ireland Ltd is set to provide new social housing in the Drumahoe area.
The Foyle MLA said: “I welcome the news from Choice Housing that they intend to build six new houses and four one-bedroom apartments at a site on the Fincairn Road Drumahoe.”
Accessibility will be a feature of the new development.
“One of these new homes will have wheelchair access.
“Sinn Féin is delivering the largest shake up of public housing in 50 years which will see more homes being built for those most in need.
“Sinn Féin are committed to challenging urban and rural inequality and ensuring that everyone has the right to a home.”
