15 photographs of pure joy as Derry City F.C. bring FAI Cup trophy to school

There was some excitement among the red and white bedecked pupils and staff at St Eithne’s Primary School on Wednesday as Derry City F.C. brought the FAI Cup along to celebrate the team’s stunning success.

Derry beat Shelbourne in the final at the Aviva in Dublin on Sunday to lift the cup for the first time since 2012.

And the children dressed for the occasion by having a Red and White Day at the school.
