Despite being isolated in their own homes, families, crafters and local children in particular, have helped brighten up these dark days in their streets and estates.

Today we feature many of those pictures you have sent us over 10 pages in Friday’s Derry Journal. In fact, so amazing was the response to our online call that we are now going to run the pictures over two weeks to ensure we showcase and celebrate all the great submissions we have received. So if you don’t see your picture in today’s paper, don’t worry as they will be in next Friday’s Journal.

We hope our readers enjoys all the hard work everyone put in. We certainly did. Well done everyone!
