As always, the students and staff were involved in a great many activities throughout the year, whether excelling at exams, attending formals, winning prizes inside and outside the school, or raising funds for good causes.

Thornhill College student Emma O'Kane, who obtained 12A* in her recent GCSE results. Emma was awarded 2nd place overall in Northern Ireland and runner-up in the Burke Memorial prize 2006. She is presently studying Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics at A-Level. (2011T27).
