Another COVID-19 death in Derry/Strabane

One more person has sadly died in Derry and Strabane after testing positive for COVID-19.

The total death toll in the district has risen to 64.

Two people, aged between 60 and 70, died in hospital yesterday. One of those deaths was recorded in the figures published by the Department of Health yesterday with the other only being confirmed this afternoon.

Derry and Strabane has the fifth highest coronavirus death toll by local government district after Belfast (216), Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon (84), Antrim and Newtownabbey (78) and Lisburn and Castlereagh (71).
