Breakdown of COVID-19 by postcode shows cityside of Derry has case rate of 1115.9 per 100,000
While the rate for Derry and Strabane was 892 between October 9 and October 15 in BT48 the figure was 1115.9 with 702 positive cases recorded over the week.
This was considerably higher than most other post code areas.

Hide AdThe second highest case rate in the north was BT47, comprising the Waterside of Derry and its rural hinterland as far as Dungiven, which stood at 997.4. There were 613 positive COVID-19 cases over the seven days on the eastbank of the Foyle.
By comparison in the Strabane area, BT82, there were 127 cases giving a seven day rate of 473.9.
In Limavady, BT49, 72 cases were recorded with a seven day rate of 304.1.
