The bumper two-day event will provide an expansive ‘delivery room’ for helpful tips and advice on all things bump, baby and beyond. The Derry showcase will give visitors the low-down on essential products and services for everything a family needs to support mums/dads and children from tummy to toddler.

The Derry event is the second in a series of three North West events with Bump and Baby Letterkenny to take place on August 20 and 21 in the Radisson Blu Hotel and Bump and Baby Sligo due on November 5 and 6 in the Clarion Hotel.

Visitors will be given access to expert speakers including a midwifery professional, pharmacist, experts in paediatric first aid training, breastfeeding, child safety, nutrition, fitness, health, beauty and much more.

Helpful tips and advice from specialists in pushchairs, car seats, cots and more will be provided by top retailers who will labour to ensure visitors have all the information they need under one roof.

Prizes galore for mums, babies and families will also be on offer during the two-day event.

The event is the brainchild of local mum-in-business Martina McAuley, whose daily routine involves a balancing act of leading a cutting-edge HR consultancy while caring for two adorable bouncing baby girls.

The career mum-of-two co-founded Derry-based firm HR Team while pregnant with her second child and following a successful career as operations manager for a multinational retailer.

“I have two bouncing baby girls aged one and three and - as anyone with young children will tell you - it can be hard to keep up with the latest information on products, child safety and health matters for mums and babies.

“After having our first child I was surprised at just how difficult it was to find information that’s really essential for parents. That’s why at Bump and Baby Expo we have designed our events to be highly informative in all the important things - right from pregnancy to pre-school.

“Bump and Baby Expo Derry will guide parents and guardians gracefully through the products and services that matter during this most exciting time of their lives.
