Coronavirus: 20 new positive tests for Covid-19 in NI - total now 148 - almost 50% of cases in 0-44 year age group

The Department of Health has revealed that as of 2pm testing has has resulted in 20 new positive cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in Northern Ireland to 148.

To date two people who tested positive have sadly died.

The total number of tests completed in Northern Ireland is 2692.

People with mild symptoms - new persistent cough and/or fever - should stay at home and self-isolate. They will not require testing and will not therefore be included in testing totals.

The number of people with Covid-19 in the 0 - 44 years group is 52.

The number in the 45-69 years age group is 51.

And the number in the 70 and over age group is 45.

Of that group there are 64 females affected and 84 males.
