Coronavirus: 18 more deaths recorded in last 24 hours as data reveals 63% of people who died in Northern Ireland aged 80 and above

Four of the 18 newly recorded deaths occurred in the last 24 hours.
The remaining 14 deaths have been recorded as having occurred outside of the last 24 hours.

Hide AdThe report, which was published on Friday, takes the DoH death-toll to 365.


Almost a third (110) of deaths have occurred in the Belfast City Council area.
More men (189) have died than women (175).
Sixty-three per cent (230) of the people who died were aged 80 and over.
Almost 30,000 tests (27,097) have been carried out in Northern Ireland since the beginning of the crisis.
A total of 23,381 people across Northern Ireland have been tested with 3,623 returning a positive result.
