The DoH also reported that 913 new infections had been detected in the last 24 hours.
The number of people to test positive for Covid-19 since the beginning of the pandemic now stands at 28,953 - of which 6,850 (24 per cent) occurred in the last seven days.

Hide AdThere are currently 18 intensive care unit (ICU) beds available throughout the entire National Health Service in Northern Ireland.
The total number of ICU beds according to the DoH Covid-19 dashboard was 98 - of this number 29 beds were occupied by patients with Covid-19 while a further 53 beds were occupied by patients with non-Covid-19 care needs.
The DoH reported an additional three Covid-19 related deaths had been recorded in the last 24 hours (two of the deaths occurred within the 24 hour period from 10.00am on Monday through to 10:00am on Tuesday - the remaining death occurred outside of this time frame but was officially recorded as being Covid-19 related for the first time).
There are also currently 286 inpatients being treated for Covid-19 across Northern Ireland’s health care system.
Over the last 14 days 416 individuals were admitted to hospital with Covid-19 and over the same time period of 14 days, 277 patients were discharged from hospital.
