COVID-19 death toll in Derry/Strabane rises to 193
One more death of a person with COVID-19 has been registered in Derry/Strabane bringing the total death toll since the pandemic began to 193, according to the latest figures published this morning by the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA).

The registered death was of a person who had died in Derry and Strabane where coronavirus was registered on the death certificate. It was registered in the week to Friday, April 9.
The death represented five per cent of the 19 deaths registered in the local area that week.
In total 1,401 deaths have been registered in Derry/Strabane between March 19, 2020 and April 9, 2021.
