That was down from case rates of 398.5 per 100,000 a week ago, 691.6 per 100,000 a fortnight ago, and 1,155.9 per 100,000 just three weeks ago.

In BT47, which covers, the Waterside and its hinterland to Dungiven, there has been a similar pattern of decline.

The rate has fallen to 275 per 100,000 people with 169 positive cases over the seven days. This fell from 364.5 per 100,000 last week, 595.5 per 100,000 a fortnight ago, and 997.4 per 100,000 three weeks ago.

Over a dozen postal districts across the north are now recording higher prevalence rates of COVID-19 than BT48 and BT47 although many are less populous areas.
