Between March 31 and April 6, there were 81 cases giving a seven day rate of 53.8.

Derry Strabane is now posting the highest COVID-19 rate in the north.

Fermanagh and Omagh (9.4), Mid and East Antrim (16.6), Lisburn and Castlereagh (21.4), Newry, Mourne and Down (25), Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon (25.3), Ards and North Down (26.1), Causeway Coast and Glens (26.3), Belfast (29), Mid Ulster (36.6) and Antrim and Newtownabbey (40) all have lower rates than Derry/Strabane.

The daily change in the cumulative number of patients with a positive test in Derry and Strabane between April 5 and April 6 was 18.

In total 11,639 people have now tested positive for the illness in Derry and Strabane.

In total 100,524 vaccine doses have now been administered at the three mass vaccination centres in Derry, Omagh and Enniskillen.

Across the north GPs have rolled out 426,226 jabs. In total 958,783 vaccines have now been administered at PHA centres and by GPs in the six counties.
