Derry COVID-19 rate down to 76.3 per 100,000 with Altnagelvin running at 2.71% over capacity
and live on Freeview channel 276
It's as low as it was on September 19 last year when it was also 76.3 cases per 100,000.
Between February 10 and February 16, there were 115 confirmed positive cases of the virus in the district giving a seven day rate per 100,000 of 76.3, down from 77.7 yesterday.

Hide AdDerry/Strabane is now recording the sixth lowest coronavirus rate in the north. The lowest rates are in Fermanagh and Omagh (44.5), Ards and North Down (54.1), Causeway Coast and Glens (70), Newry, Mourne and Down (72.7) and Lisburn and Castlereagh (75.8).
Rates remain higher in Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon (203.1), Mid Ulster (192.5), Belfast (110.2) and Antrim and Newtownabbey (98.8).
The daily change in the cumulative number of patients with a positive test in Derry and Strabane between February 15 and February 16 was 20.
In total 10,995 people have now tested positive for the illness in Derry and Strabane.

Hide AdOne more person was admitted to Altnagelvin with the illness yesterday. He was in his 50s.
At midnight on Tuesday 51 people were being treated as coronavirus inpatients across Western Trust hospitals. This is as low as it has been since October 8.
Five of 16 (31.25%) ICU beds at Altnagelvin were being used to treat COVID-19 patients; four (25%) were occupied by patients with other conditions and seven (43.75%) were free.
Five ICU patients in total were being ventilated - three were COVID-19 patients and two were non-COVID-19 patients.

Hide AdIn terms of general occupancy 10.24% of beds at Altnagelvin were ‘COVID-19 occupied’, 81.02% were ‘other occupied’ and the hospital was running at 2.71% capacity: 8.73% were ‘awaiting admission.’
There have been no new reported deaths.
