Derry COVID-19 rate unchanged at 92.3 cases per 100,000

Between May 5 and May 11, there were 139 cases giving a seven day rate of 92.3 cases per 100,000, barely any change from 92.9 on Tuesday.

Ards and North Down (6.2), Lisburn and Castlereagh (14.5), Mid and East Antrim (18), Belfast (19.6), Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon (28.5), Fermanagh and Omagh (31.7), Newry, Mourne and Down (41.1), Antrim and Newtownabbey (42.1), Mid Ulster (44.1) and Causeway Coast and Glens (50.6), all have lower rates than Derry Strabane.

The average rate for the north is 34.2.

The daily change in the cumulative number of patients with a positive test in Derry and Strabane between May 10 and May 11 was 21.

In total 12,461 people have now tested positive for the illness in Derry and Strabane.

A new breakdown of the number vaccinations by postcode shows that 47,546 have been administered in BT48 and 50,700 have been administered in BT47 - 98,246 in total in Derry.
