Five more admissions to Altnagelvin but Western Trust COVID-19 hospital numbers as low as on December 12
and on Freeview 262 or Freely 565
Two women, one aged 20 to 39 and one aged 50 to 59, and three men, one aged 60 to 69 and two aged over 80, were all admitted to the Derry hospital on January 29.
The younger woman was discharged yesterday.
At midnight on Sunday 77 patients were being treated as COVID-19 inpatients across all Western Trust hospitals.

Two more COVID-19 deaths in Derry/StrabaneThis is as low a figure as has been recorded since December 12.
Six of 12 (50%) ICU beds at Altnagelvin were being used to treat COVID-19 patients; five (41.67%) were occupied by patients with other conditions and one (8.33%) was free.
Seven ICU patients in total were being ventilated - four were COVID-19 patients and three were non-COVID-19 patients.
In terms of general occupancy 15% of beds at Altnagelvin were ‘COVID-19 occupied’, 78.53% were ‘other occupied’ and the hospital had 2.06% capacity left in the system: 4.41% were ‘awaiting admission.’
