Further Derry/Strabane COVID-19 death brings the toll to 52

Another person has sadly died having tested for positive COVID-19 in Derry and Strabane bringing the total death toll in the district to 52.

The man, who was over 80, died on Friday, November 6, according to the latest information released by the Department of Health.

Derry and Strabane now has the seventh highest coroanvirus death toll by local government district after Belfast (202), Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon (81), Antrim and Newtownabbey (76), Lisburn and Castlereagh (69), Ards and North Down (54) and Newry, Mourne and Down (53).

Thirty-one people have now died in Derry and Strabane since September after testing positive with SARS-CoV-2.
