Man admitted to Altnagelvin with COVID-19 with 6.21% capacity left in system

At midnight on Thursday 40 people were being treated as coronavirus inpatients across Western Trust hospitals. It's as low as it has been since October 6 (38).
Six of 14 (42.86%) ICU beds at Altnagelvin were being used to treat COVID-19 patients; three (21.43%) were occupied by patients with other conditions and five (35.71%) were free.

Hide AdSeven ICU patients in total were being ventilated - four were COVID-19 patients and three non-COVID-19 patients.
In terms of general occupancy 8.28% of beds at Altnagelvin were ‘COVID-19 occupied’, 83.43% were ‘other occupied’ and the hospital had 6.21% capacity left in the system: 2.07% were ‘awaiting admission.’
No further deaths have been recorded.
